Ruth Ricks (Clair Collins) "Ruth Ricks: Tales of a Mixed Girl in Orange County," a chronicle of Ruth's adventures as an OC native and as an actress in Los Angeles, is an ever evolving project. During her stint as a college student in Long Beach, CA, Ruth Ricks decided to make the theatre her life. Between classes in Non-verbal Communication and Recreational Studies, Ruth had some of her favorite theatre experiences. She performed as a part of the CSULB University Players in "For Colored Girls..." and "Colored Museum." During those lean theatre years she also starred in "Dark of the Moon," "The Crucible" and "Marisol." After turning her focus to performing in front of the camera, Ruth had a few film roles and was most recenly cast in the short film, "Triple Minority." Since being completed, the film has screened across the United States, Europe and has since aired on MTV's Logo network as a part of their "Best in Short Film Series." Ruth is currently auditioning, working and developing scripts. |

Kathleen Davison (Rebecca Laws) A proud member of the Screen Actors’ Guild, Kathleen Davison has appeared in over fifteen cinematic offerings and two television pilots, most recently playing leads in the independent films "Effloresce" and "Triple Minority." Other highlights include a role in Steven Spielberg’s The Terminal, sharing a scene with Cher and Tom Hanks. Also a member of Actors’ Equity Association, Davison’s favorite roles include Helena in "A Midsummer Night’s Dream," the title role in "Delores," and her stint as a repertory member with the Windy City’s Broad Shoulders Rep and ArtReach theater companies. Kathleen holds a BA in Theater (performance) from Penn State University. Additionally, she has taken various master classes in London, studied with Arthur Mendoza in Los Angeles, and continues her training at Larry Moss’s Edgemar Studios, L.A. She is also founder and president of Painted Saint Entertainment. |

Selma Pinkard (Debra Collins) Born "Selma Shenetta Stockton" in St. Petersburg, FL, Selma moved to California to follow her dream of becoming an actress. After moving to California, she performed on stage at the Huntington Beach Playhouse Theater in Neil Simon's "Proposals" as Clemma Diggins, and as Dolly Levi in "Hello Dolly." On television, she has portrayed Irene Peters in the "Michael Jackson Re-Enactment Trial," Edna McCovin in the docudrama "Surviving Katrina," and had a co-starring role on "ER." Her film credits include States Evidence, Stone & Ed, Occupation-Hollywood, and Lost the movie. |
